1,500 Metre Gutter Refurbishment
Client Brief
We were appointed by our client to deliver a comprehensive gutter refurbishment project at a large commercial site. This involved treating over 1,500 linear metres of existing gutters that had become weathered and partially degraded over time. The goal was to restore full watertightness, prevent further deterioration, and extend the service life of the gutter system in a cost-effective and non-disruptive manner.
What We Did
Our experienced gutter repair team began by thoroughly cleaning and preparing the gutter network, removing all debris, silt, and remnants of previous coatings. Localised repairs were carried out on deteriorated joints, cracks, and corroded sections to ensure a sound and consistent substrate before coating application.
We then applied the Giromax Guttercoat System in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to maintain system integrity and ensure warranty eligibility. This high-performance, cold-applied liquid coating is developed specifically for gutter refurbishment, providing long-lasting waterproofing and corrosion protection.
The project was completed to a high standard, on time, and with minimal disruption to the client’s operations. A 15-year manufacturer’s material guarantee was issued upon completion, and since then, our client has engaged with our team to deliver further large-scale refurbishment works across their property portfolio.
