Government Site Roof Remedial Work, Surrey

Client Brief

We were recently contacted by a client to undertake essential roofing remedial work at a high-security government facility in Surrey. Due to the sensitive nature of the facility, the project required all operatives to obtain full security clearance and follow strict operational protocols throughout.

The scope of works focused on improving the performance and durability of the existing roof system, including the replacement of thousands of roof fixings and targeted remedial works to restore weatherproofing and visual standards.

What We Did

We worked closely with the client to ensure all roofing technicians received the necessary security clearance prior to mobilisation. This allowed our roof repair team to operate on-site without disrupting ongoing secure operations.

Once on site, we replaced over 6,000 roof fixings to provide waterproofing and long-term structural integrity. The works also included thoroughly cleaning the roof surface, removing all biological growth, dirt, and debris to restore its appearance and meet the site’s high standards of cleanliness.

In addition, we carried out a full inspection of ridge and verge cappings, replacing any sections that were damaged or degraded to improve overall weather resistance and deliver a clean, consistent finish.

The project was completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, fully compliant with all site-specific regulations.  The client was extremely satisfied with the outcome and highlighted our professionalism, quality of work, and ability to operate seamlessly within a high-security environment.
