Our client approached us to restore a 1,300m² roofing system at their Huddersfield site, which had suffered significant wear over time. The roof had delaminated down to the core, and extensive cut edge corrosion was present along the end laps and roof sheets. As with every project, we began with a detailed site inspection to assess the extent of the damage and determine the most effective course of action.

What We Did
Following the site survey, it was clear a Giromax coating would be the best-suited treatment for this roof repair project. To prep the area for spraying, we carried out a full jet wash to remove any loose debris, dirt, algae and moss; this is a vital step to ensure the adhesion and lifespan of the coating.
Once prepped, the roof was sprayed with a high-performance Giromax coating in the shade of Goosewing Grey, designed to withstand UV, weather, and temperature extremes while being fully moisture tolerant. This extends the lifespan of the roofing system to prevent the need for costly replacement and comes alongside a 20-year warranty.
As the client had to hand the site over to their landlord within a time-critical period, we completed all works within a strict timeframe and to the highest standard; they are thrilled with their results!
